Lenten Worship Schedule

The season of Lent is upon us! This year, let us take some extra time to be with Christ, and more intentionally with one another. Our theme, for both Wednesday evening and Sunday morning services throughout Lent, is A CALL TO COMMUNITY. You are invited to join our community as we together take this Lenten journey.

Beginning on Ash Wednesday on Feb. 21st, and continuing through the season of Lent (ending with Wed. April 1st), we will gather on Wednesday evenings for a candle-lit prayer service. As a preventative measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus, we will not be gathering as we usually do, in-person. But we will still gather digitally, via a live-stream on our Facebook Page. The stream will begin just before 7pm. The service will begin at 7 pm. Come and be in community with us for a simple service of prayer for all the communities of our world, local, national, and international.

In this time of pain in our community and across the world, and uncertainty in our own lives, come and pray. We are taking measures to reduce any potentials transmission of infection. For more information on that, visit our Resources - COVID-19 page, or email the church office at aglc907@gmail.com.

We are a family-based church located on Anchorage’s southern hillside.  As a community, we are deeply invested in creating an environment where all feel welcome as a part of God’s family and can be fed through the Word and sacraments.
